Help MYK go to Norcal!

2010 January 22
by MYK

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I really am, but things just seem to be getting worse and worse.

If you live in the Socal area you know this week has been POURING rain. Well during one my drives home I hit a pretty good sized chunk of asphalt that flipped out of a pothole since the rain water filled it up and as soon as a car went over it, it flipped that big chunk out into the middle lane on the freeway. Myself and 3~4 other cars also ran over this and had the same/similar result. The result was 2 flat tires and 2 cracked rims. Meaning I had to replace my tires and rims, which means me = hella broke.

Picture of the result:

Also shortly after that I get a text from my friend that was looking at my computer, and it’s sad to say but my motherboard + my cpu… is dead. Which also means I might as well get a completely new computer as well. So I don’t even know when updates will be coming again, except for Level Up Your Game Episode 2 which Rip has informed me should be coming out in no more than a week.

There’s a tournament coming up on the 30th of January, so only one week away, and all my money is gone, because of this accident. I never really pushed on the donations and I don’t like to either, but times are rough and this is one of the biggest Tekken tournaments of this year which I’d really like to attend. If you guys could help out and help me get to Norcal for Norcal Strongstyle 4 (which I believe is their last one) that’d be great, and MUCH appreciated. Donation link is on the right sidebar or click here: null. If you don’t have a paypal account you can still donate, just remember to look at the bottom left of the screen where it says Don’t have a Paypal Account? Just make sure you press “CONTINUE” on that screen.

If you can help out much thanks, if not thanks anyways for checking out this site and supporting Tekken :) , and I’ll try to get the next article up as soon as I can get a new comp with photoshop on it.

What’s up now?

2010 January 7
by MYK

Hey guys I’m making a quick little post here with the small time I have on a computer to inform you guys on what’s up with the the updates as of now. If you guys have been following my twitter you would know that my computer has recently died. Which means I can’t access anything other than from my ps3, which doesn’t have the best browser in the world. I was supposed to have two more articles done by now, but that’s no longer the case. My computer’s getting looked at, and it seems as if I would need to replace the motherboard. Which means hella money from me which I don’t have at this moment, so it’s going to take a while for me to get it fixed. So I’m letting you guys know updates are going to be very very very slow at the moment, but no worries hopefully I’ll be back soon with more podcasts, articles with new strategies and tips, and all that good stuff for you guys.

Take cares,
-MYK

Now Get Out There!

2009 November 25
by tekkurai

Okay, the game is out. The glorious day has arrived! What now? How do you get in contact with your local community? If you’re not satisfied with Online play (and many aren’t for various reasons), it’s time to go out and find some competition. How? Well, some sessions may be harder to find than others. A highly recommended strategy is to venture out to online forums like tekkenzaibatsu.com. In the Match-Finder threads, you should be able to locate a topic for your specific state (or section of the state, if you live in bigger ones). Therein will be posts from most of the locals at any given time. Some groups are more crowded than others, but all of them desire the same thing: to excel at Tekken.
